Traditional Slippery Elm and Liquorice Tea
Pharmacopoeial Grade Herbs

Ingredients: Organically grown Liquorice root (38%)*, organically grown wild cherry bark (15%), organically grown bitter fennel fruit*, organically grown cinnamon bark*, organically grown sweet orange peel, organically grown slippery elm bark USP (4%)*, organically grown marshmallow root (3%)*, dry extract from Chinese liquorice root (3%)**.

Preparation: Pour 240 mL freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a cup. Cover cup and steep 10-15 minutes. Gently squeeze the tea bag to release any remaining extract.

Dosage: Drink 4 to 6 cups daily or as needed. To enhance benefits, add honey, especially in dry climates. Gargle before swallowing.

Cautions: If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your pre- or post natal healthcare provider prior to use. Consult a healthcare provider prior to use if you have hypokalaemia, if you are taking any kind of hormonal therapies, diuretics, potassium depleting agents, or MAO inhibitors.

Contraindications: Do not use if you have known allergies to aniseed, anethole or fennel. Do not use if you have impaired kidney or liver functions, high blood pressure or heart disease.
